Deputation Update

3/17/2008

Dear Friends and Family,

This past week has been a refreshing one! Due to sickness we canceled a meeting in Indiana and headed home to rest. After only a couple of days we were beginning to feel better and get some needed rest from our travels. We were able to have some much needed family time as well. Grandma watched our kids so we could go on a date and have some time together alone. We also had a family day to play with the kids and enjoy some relaxation around the house.

On Wednesday night, we were blessed to visit our own church family at Maranatha. What a joy it was to fellowship with our church family after being gone for two months!

On Sunday we had a meeting at Love Valley Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, NC – only about 35 minutes from home. We were able to set up our display and present our burden for Brazil during the evening service. The church voted right there to take us on for support beginning in April. Praise the LORD for this blessing!

Please continue to pray for us as we head back out on the road. We are refreshed and ready for the LORD to do a work this week! We praise the LORD for His continued provision and blessings upon us and are reminded as we dawn upon crucifixion week of what our Savior went through for us. Praise the LORD that He humbled Himself and became our substitute on the cross of Calvary!

Gratefully serving our risen Savior,

Jeremy and Esther Lockhart
