Deputation Update

Dear Friends and Family,
Our travels this past week took us to Rocky Mount, NC where we were able to be part of a missions conference Wednesday through Sunday. We enjoyed the week very much as the church involved us in every part of the ministry. Besides presenting our ministry, we taught children’s church, on Thursday night, taught the Kindergarten through 3rd grade chapel on Thursday morning, taught a children’s Sunday school class on Sunday morning and preached on Sunday night.
There were so many families that were a blessing to us. We stayed each night with Mr. Harrell, an older man in the church whose wife passed away only a year ago. We enjoyed getting to be an encouragement to him and helped for a short time to take away his loneliness. Also, on Saturday morning, Jeremy was able to go visiting with the men of the church. Along with another missionary, he was able to talk with a 15 year old girl who said that she planned to go to her bedroom and put her trust in Christ after we left. Whether she did or not we do not know, but it was a blessing to get to share the Gospel with her!
We are thankful for yet another safe week of travels and look forward to another week! Thank you all for your prayers!
