Deputation Update

Dear Friends and Family,

What a joy it has been to be involved in two more mission conferences these past couple weeks. We started out at Calvary Baptist Church in King, NC. This church asked us ahead of time for any special needs or wants that we had. At the end of the conference they showered us with gifts. New tires on the van, books, computer software, clothes for the kids, toys, and other things were all packed into a huge storage box! These folks went out of their way to be a great blessing to our family. We were blessed with some excellent preaching throughout the week and overwhelmed at the many gifts showered on us. The highlight of the meeting for Jeremy was during Sunday school. He was given the 3rd and 4th grade boys to teach. After class one young boy stayed after everyone else left the room and wanted to know if he could be saved that day! What a blessing it was to see him bow his head and trust in Christ!

On Monday morning we left North Carolina and drove to Tipton, IN to catch the last two days of a mission conference at the First Baptist Church. The conference went well, and we were given the opportunity to stay the rest of the week after the conference ended. We were able to spend some time getting to know Pastor and Mrs. Ward and were given the privilege of teaching junior church and preaching again on Sunday night. It is always a blessing to stay at one church longer than just for one service day and get to know the church a little better.

We are thankful for each meeting the Lord has given us and are grateful for the many sacrifices these churches have made to help us on our way to Brazil! Thank you all for your faithful prayers and support!
